Free COVID tests can now be ordered through the government’s new website, which is refreshingly simple to navigate and understand.
The Biden administration launched a new website on Tuesday that allows Americans to buy up to four free quick coronavirus test kits for their homes. The site was launched a day early in beta form by the US Postal Service to allow the government to iron out any bugs. “We can’t guarantee there won’t be a problem or two,” Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, said, “but the greatest tech teams across the administration and the Postal Service are working hard to make this a success.”
There was one major flaw, which appeared to affect primarily apartment inhabitants. Regardless of how many households lived in a building, the site appeared to recognize it as a single address suitable for one order. As a result, some users received an error notice claiming that their order was a duplicate and could not be processed, potentially due to a conflict with another tenant in the building.
