I've got 2 ends of a piece of 4mm paracord rope that I want to lock together, non permanently with a key.Right now the best idea I've got is to just crimp/glue some metal pipe to each end, drill a hole through each one, and thread them onto a padlock. But that takes up a lot of space, and I'm looking for a more elegant, compact solution. I suppose I could just take a small section of pipe and fasten something down on both ends with a security screw, but I'd prefer something with a key. Any ideas?
