Murkowski Urges Biden to Nominate a Supreme Court Nominee Who Has Bipartisan Support.
Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski, a Republican, is pushing President Joe Biden to appoint someone to the Supreme Court who can be confirmed with bipartisan support.
“It all comes back to (Biden’s) prayer breakfast remarks. How are we going to come together? What exactly do we have to accomplish? “Well, one of the signals he can give is bringing forward a Supreme Court nominee who would — will receive bipartisan support,” Murkowski said on CNN’s “State of the Union” with Jake Tapper “Sen.
